Manneken Pix on GeoNetArt
I participated in an artistic project named GeoNetArt, in which the idea was to place a QRcode in a public area, which if scanned who lead to an artistic website. All the websites created were supposed to be featured on a collaborative Google map.
I have placed my QR Stickers on multiple information boards surrounding the Manneken Pis statue in Brussels. The idea is that they lead you to a website that is at the same time artistic, informative and rather comic (in my opinion).
The site allows people to view some animated gifs and various reappropriations of this cult Belgian figure.
The site also suggests to join a Flickr group (I created) of Manneken Pis pictures, for art-curious and disappointed tourists alike.
But the site is also giving away some rather surrealist informations and links.
Click on the QR below to access Manneken Pix !
*A l'intention de S.Hoffman : Je vous ai fait une note dans le code source de la page index.

GeoNetArt2011 project
The idea is to place a QR code somewhere I will keep secret for now, and that it will direct you to a website where you can view pictures taken by pedestrians, and where everyone will have the oportunity to upload their own picture to add to the collection.
The website could be viewed as a virtual artistic gallery and also as an educative tool.
